The Cranbrook Community Theatre (CCT) has started their Legacy Fund with a $600.00 initial contribution. Once the fund reaches $10,000, it will become permanently invested with the Cranbrook and District Community Foundation (CDCF). The interest from the permanently invested capital will come back to the Cranbrook Community Theatre every year, forever, to support the CCT’s operations and programs.
Melodie Hull, long-time CCT member and current board member, said “We are so excited to have established the Cranbrook Community Theatre Legacy Fund. We would like to reach our $10,000 goal as quickly as possible. To everyone in the community, if you have ever come to one of our productions or attended an event in our facility, please consider making a tax receiptable donation to our fund.”
Donations to the Cranbrook Community Theatre Legacy Fund can be made via cash or cheque, with cheques made out to the Cranbrook and District Community Foundation.
According to Lynnette Wray, CDCF Executive Director, “The CDCF is very pleased to be working with the CCT on their Legacy Fund. Our goal is to have this fund reach the $10,000 mark by the end of 2018. We know that people in our community love local community theatre, and we are confident that individuals, families, and businesses will jump on board to support the Cranbrook Community Theatre Legacy Fund.”
For more information about how to make a donation, please contact Lynnette Wray by phone (250-426-1119) or email (Lynnette.email@example.com).
